What It Is
Peel Bonding Primer is the specialist we bring in when a surface has history: alligatored paint, chalky films, edges that keep lifting. It's a high-build acrylic that binds marginal surfaces down and fills in the scars, creating a uniform base where a standard primer would just follow the flaws.
How Our Crews Use It
On older wood exteriors with decades of coats, we scrape to a sound edge and then lock the transition zones down with Peel Bond — it levels the step between bare wood and old paint so repairs disappear under the finish.
Key Benefits
- Glues down peeling, cracking, or chalking paint, reducing surface prep
- Applies up to 20 mils wet to smooth weathered surfaces
- Blocks rust stains and mild tannin bleed
- Remains flexible and breathable over time
- Topcoat-ready in two hours
